Conference - "Climate Change - Finding Solutions"

Climate Change - Finding Solutions is a free one day conference jointly hosted by European Law Monitor - Europe Direct, the University of Winchester, and the European Commission Representation in the UK.
The theme of the event is that "Business will lead the search for solutions to climate change". The conference is FREE TO DELEGATES and is intended to help businesses that want to develop products and technologies to help in the reduction of carbon emissions.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT with lunch provided at no extra cost, but PLACES ARE LIMITED. PLACES ARE STILL AVAILABLE, BUT BOOKINGS WILL CLOSE VERY SHORTLY.

The conference programme covers the steps that the EU and UK government are taking to create a positive framework for the development of business driven solutions to the problems caused by global climate change, together with a series of practical sessions on how businesses can find funding and technical help in taking their new product ideas from concept to market.
Individual sessions will cover the EU and UK legislative frameworks, EU and UK Grants and where and how to get them, raising bank finance, how the universities can provide technical and research support, and presentations from companies that have already been through the process and what they've learned.
