Proposal on the certification of train crews on the EUs rail networks
Abstract
This proposal lays down the conditions and procedures for the certification of train crews in the EU. It also specifies the tasks for which:
• the competent authorities of the Member States
• the train drivers
• railway undertaking (railway company, whether public or private)
• any organisation responsible for maintenance and establishment of the railways infrastructure
• training centres are responsible
