Abstract
Proposal for the elimination of controls performed at the frontiers of Member States in the field of road and inland waterway transport (codified version)
If a piece of legislation has been amended more than ten times the Commission now brings all of these separate pieces of legislation into one version, for the sake of clarity. This is known as codification, and theoretically no substantive changes should be made. However, if you are affected by regulations relating to road of water transport in Europe it is worth checking it through to make sure that nothing additional has crept in.
