Parliament elected its five Quaestors

Parliament elected its five Quaestors (three men and two women) for a mandate of two and a half years, by electronic secret ballot. The Quaestors are responsible for administrative and financial matters of direct concern to Members. The five Quaestors sit on Parliament's Bureau in an advisory capacity. They ensure that Members have the infrastructure necessary to exercise their mandate. Bill Newton Dunn (ALDE, UK) and Jim Higgins (EPP, Ireland) are among the five.
The five elected Quaestors are:

Jim HIGGINS EPP, Ireland 352 votes - elected after the first-round
Astrid LULLING EPP, Luxembourg 306 votes - elected after the third-round
